What do I need for a telemedicine visit?
You will need a smartphone, tablet, or computer with internet connection to complete a telemedicine visit. No downloads are required. After booking an appointment, you will be provided a link to connect at the time of your appointment. Our virtual visit platform is convenient, safe, secure, and user-friendly!
Do you accept my insurance?
We take many insurance plans including Medicaid, Medicare, and many commercial plans. Please note that patients are responsible for knowing their insurance plans and paying any required deductible charges. Co-pays, self-pays and co-insurance payments are due at the time of the visit. We know insurance coverage can be confusing, so feel free to contact us with any questions about insurance coverage. Diligent Urgent Care provides a low-cost alternative to emergency department visits for self-pay patients with no insurance or high deductible insurance plans. You may make your payment with cash, check, or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, AMEX). You are welcome to contact us with your questions about billing or payment.
How can I book a virtual visit? When are virtual visits available?
You can book a telemedicine appointment by calling 201-834-8887 between the hours of 9 am to 6 pm or by using our online platform 24/7. Virtual visits are available 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday.
Who will see me during my virtual visit?
One of Diligent Urgent Care’s providers will see you during your virtual visit. We have highly qualified physicians and physician assistants available to treat you virtually!
What happens if I need a prescription?
Our providers will recommend the best treatment for your condition. If a prescription is recommended, it will be sent directly to your pharmacy of choice.
Can my child be seen virtually? I am under the age of 18, can I be seen virtually?
Yes, anyone under the age of 18 can be seen virtually with the verbal consent of a parent/guardian.
